- As a part of our continuing effort to
provide customers with the highest quality of molded plastic
parts, the design and production of molds can also be done through
Harmony Systems. Harmony has highly capable sources to provide:
- Mold Design
- Cycle time optimization through the use
of dynamic flow cooling methods
- CAD facilities allowing for CNC machining
of highly complex cores and cavities
- These capabilities allow projects to proceed
from part mylar to finished cavities and cores, without the need
for intermediary dies or tracer molds. Finished molds are produced
to rigid tolerances. Our moldmaking sources understand the effects
of variation on the mold-building process and subsequent part
production. Consequently, there is a high focus on minimizing
component-to-component variation in the building process.
- Important steps are taken to extend the
life of every mold produced. Each mold is equipped with a guided
ejector system. Each mold is tested to assure its performance
to specification. The results are stable and consistent part
processing.
